How is the vehicle pick-up process?
Pick-up is only possible during the agency opening hours (closed on Sundays and public holidays). For exceptional cases, alternative solutions are available.
Which documents do I need to bring?
When collecting the vehicle, you must present a valid Belgian ID card, a valid European driving licence, and a debit or credit card.
Which driving licence is required?
The required licence depends on the chosen vehicle. This is clearly indicated in the vehicle details at the time of booking.
How to return the vehicle?
The vehicle must be returned clean, inside and out, and at the time stated in the contract.
Returns outside opening hours are possible at no extra cost, if specified in the contract.
Cleaning fees may be charged if the vehicle is returned dirty.
Is fuel included?
No. The vehicle is delivered with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank.
Otherwise, the missing fuel will be charged.
What to do in case of breakdown?
Call 0800 / 82 812 immediately.

Always provide the exact location of the vehicle.
Flat tire?
A jack and a spare wheel are provided. Roadside assistance is also available.
What happens at the return time?
The vehicle is automatically blocked at the date and time stated in the contract.
This system prevents theft. Sobeltax declines all responsibility in case of timing errors made by the customer.
What to do in case of an accident?
Contact the authorities in case of dispute.
Fill in the European accident report correctly.
If the vehicle can no longer be driven, call 0800 / 82 812. Sobeltax will take over 24/7.
Can I rent for a short period?
Yes. Rentals are available from 4 hours, 24 hours, 1 week or 1 month.
For long trips, ask for a package: you will know the exact price in advance.
What are the medium- or long-term options?
Specific rates are available for long-term rentals.
